Betty Moss ( nee Walko),88, of Elyria passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. She was born February 27, 1933 in LaGrange, OH and was a graduate of Penfield High School. Betty enjoyed Ohio State Basketball, Cleveland Indians, cooking, baking, but especially the grandkids. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Elyria. Survivors include her daughters, Marsha Daughtery (Charles), Jane Kemer (Shawn Wilford); grandchildren, Matthew and Joshua Daughtery, Nicole and Ryan Kemer; sister Helen Walko. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin T. Moss in 2015; parents John and Eva Walko (nee Barna); several sisters and brothers. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery (Elyria).
