Betty M. Hostutler, (nee-Coen), 90, of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday March 8, 2020 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born April 29, 1929 in Mobley, WV. And was a North Ridgeville resident for most of her life. Betty was raised by her mother Goldie Cain Henthorn and Dencil "Tatch" Henthorn and graduated from Pine Grove High School in 1948. Betty was employed as an assembler at Ruxton Industries in Elyria for many years, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and was a fan of all Cleveland sports teams. Survivors include her daughters, Paige (Ray) Diederich, Paulette Ward, Marilyn (Phil) Jackson and Joyce Hostutler; sons, Warren and Kevin Hostutler; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vesta, Viola and Arlene; brothers, Terry and Randy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, a sister, Fannie and brothers, Gerald and Joe. The family will receive friends Friday March 13, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
