Betty Joanne Diederick( nee Flood) 75 of Elyria passed away Saturday February 22,2014 at New Life Hospice of Lorain after a brief illness. She was born April 20, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls , Elvis memorabilia , crocheting , knitting and gardening. Survivors include her daughter Deborah Diederick of Oberlin , grandchildren Jaclyn , Jason France , David France , Jesse Bolt , Heather Randolph , 8 great-grandchildren , her brother Leonard of Wellington. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Robert , brothers James , Richard , sister Constance and her parents Edward and Mary (nee Staats). NO VISITATION. Private burial at Ridgehill Cemetery.
