Bert L. Walker (nee Stokes) 74 of Oberlin,"To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die", passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family Friday evening November 11, 2016. She was born August 11, 1942 in Harrisville, Pa. Survivors include daughters Rhonda Walker of Oberlin , Shari (Russell) Novotny of Wellington , Glenda Weidrick of Arcadia, Fla. , son Matthew of Wellington , grandchildren Johanna , Andrea , Kaycee , Charlotte , Chase , Madeline , Camryn , Elliot , great-grandson Kellen , former husband and lifelong friend Glenn , sisters Thelma Bridges of Grove City, Pa. , Sarah Stokes of Grove City, Pa. , Mert Datema of North Carolina , Gladys Spanglehour of Jacksonville, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Thelma Louise (nee Grossman) , son James , brothers Lawrence and Larry. There will be No Visitation or Services. Burial Private.
