Beatrice Anna McElwee (nee: Baker) 81, of Simpsonville, KY (formerly of Elyria) passed away Saturday January 11, 2014 following a brief illness. She was born February 26, 1932 in Elyria. Beatrice had worked at Howard Johnson in North Ridgeville, she was a loving and devoted mother , grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include a daughter; Kathy Ann Burden (David) of Simpsonville, KY, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband; Denzil W. in 1984, two sons; Larry and William, her parents; Albert and Mattie (nee: Knapp) Baker, twelve brothers and sisters; Eleanor Standiford, LaVerne Conley, Edith Phillips, Edna Casper, Lila Phillips, Thelma Soules, Gerry King, Leslie, Leon, LeRoy, Allen, and Homer Baker.
