Obituary

Baron R. "Bud" Burkey 65, of Wellington, passed away at home unexpectedly on Saturday April 21, 2012. He was born August 1, 1946 in Uniontown, PA. Bud had served with the Ohio Army National Guard, and had retired from General Motors as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bow hunting, and golf. Survivors include his wife of three years; Alda M. (nee: Dobbins), six daughters; Sherri Baker of Lorain, Rosemary Hall (Tim) of Elyria, Deanna Anderson of SC., Amanda Pyles of Elyria, Sherry Pyles of Brunswick, Crystal Pyles of Lakewood., three sons; Brian of Grafton, Glenn (Pam) of GA, John Calabrese Jr. of Wellington. Additional survivors include; eleven grandchildren, a sister; Terri Osborn (David) of Vermilion, two brothers; Charles (Patricia) of Elyria, Gilbert (Denise) of Brunswick. Private funeral services were held. Memorial contributions can be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
