Barbara J. Rieck, affectionately known as "Tootie," passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in Westlake, Ohio, at the age of 91. Born on May 3, 1934, she was the eighth child of Viola and Edward Sherman. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 6 siblings. She is survived by her only remaining sibling, Shirley Majurski of Hemet, CA.  Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert Rieck, with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage, most of them spent in Eaton Township, Ohio. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Irene Henderson and son, Robert Rieck. Her legacy continues through her cherished granddaughters, Denise (David) Raynes of Rocky River, OH, and Cindi (Jason) Badger of Grove City, PA, and her four adored great-grandchildren: Katrina, Brianna, Lily, and Jason Jr. Barbara was also a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She retired from Avery Dennison after 20 years of dedicated service, working part-time at Hallmark after her retirement. Barbara will be privately laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Resthaven Cemetery a final reunion with the love of her life.
