Barbara J. Faith, (nee-Schuster), 73, of Elyria passed away Wednesday January 11, 2023 at the Lifecare Center of Elyria following a brief illness. She was born May 29, 1949 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Barb worked at the Olmsted Manor Nursing Home as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 28 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed going to flea markets and taking long rides in the car. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Carl; sons, James (Carrie) Butts and Chad Butts; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Diane Strebel, Pat Schuster, Phyllis Andrusyszyn, and Rose Howington; brothers, Donald Schuster Jr., Ed Schuster, Steve Schuster and Chuck Schuster. She was preceded in death her parents, Donald Sr. and Charlotte Schuster and a sister, Carol Dryden. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 19, 2023 in the funeral home. The Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria will Officiate.
