Barbara J. Meyers, (nee-Haag), 96, of Wellington passed away Thursday July 1, 2021 at her home following a brief illness. She was born August 19, 1924 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Barb was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elyria, formerly sang with the Sweet Adalines for many years and enjoyed making ceramics to share with her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Debby Dombrosky; sons, Ken (Karen) Wahl, Tim Wahl, Doug (Jeanette) Wahl and Mike (Tammy) Lane; 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert A. Meyers, Richard Lane and Theophilus Wahl and sisters, Marion Brown and Katherine Stratton. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 7, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church 9685 East River Rd., Elyria. The Rev. Robert Weldon, Pastor will Officiate. Private inurnment will be at a later date at North Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
