Barbara A. Loomis (nee Bullis), Born March 5, 1927 to George Bullis and Marion Sherman Bullis in Detroit, Michigan. She moved to Penfield, Ohio at 10 months of age. Barbara graduated from Penfield High School in 1945. Moved to Elyria and worked at Bendix-Westinghouse office until 1948. Lived in Illinois for approximately 8 years. She was a resident of Elyria for most of her life, and moved to LaGrange in 1994. Barbara also worked for Dr. Alan Davis for 15 years, and Dr. Timothy Dostall for 14 years full time and 15 years part-time, and was an Avon representative from 1992 until 2015. She enjoyed playing cards, games, reading, dancing going to plays at Playhouse Square and especially spending time with the grandkids. She belonged to the Penfield Alumni and Fourthurs. Barbara was a gentle, loving soul and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her sons, Gregory (Judy) Dostall of Charlotte, NC, Timothy Dostall (Deborah Mohr) of Grafton, OH, Richard Loomis of Vermilion, OH, and Bradley (Tracy) Loomis of Lebanon, OH; grandchildren, Michelle Signorelli, Jennifer Fisher, Krista Dostall Klaus, Dalton Loomis, Devin Loomis and Jade Boyd; great grandchildren, Ashleigh Wells, Mina Tokes, Andrew Wells, Jakob Klaus, Twins Franklyn and Nikolas Klaus; sisters, Evelyn (John) Wick and Joyce Bullis. She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 26 and a half years Richard D. Loomis on June 1, 1997. Sister, Shirley (Joseph) French. Burial will be private.
