Barbara Jean Sizemore (nee: Duncan) 75, of Lorain passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 25, 2025.  She was born January 23, 1950 in West Virginia.  Barb loved baking, especially wedding cakes, she enjoyed doing macramé, floral arranging, and was a talented artist.  Survivors include her sons; Douglas A. Sizemore (Kim) of Lorain, Dana A. Sizemore (Krissy Kawell) of Lorain, additional survivors include three grandchildren; Raquel, Deanna, Dominic and eight great grandchildren, two sisters; Karen Smith, Debbie Briggs and a brother; John Duncan (Barb).  Barb was preceded in death by her husband; Albert Sizemore, her parents; Robert and Ethel (nee: Merifield) Duncan, a sister; Shirley Steele, and six brothers; Don, Jim, Ron, Rich, Larry, Gary. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Saturday November 29, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 3:00 PM immediately following visitation. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate.
