It's with great sadness we share the passing of Barbara Ann Coughlin (nee Buck), 77, of Elyria. After a courageous health battle over the last 3 years, she passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26th, 2023. A native of Elyria, Barb was the youngest child of Frank and Mary Buck. She was a 1963 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. She was preceded in death by her parents and her uncle, Chester Szymczak. She leaves behind children, Debbie Guddy, Shari Sackett (Tony), and David (Melanie); grandchildren, Jennifer Schoolcraft (Greg), Tiffany Hall (John), Jessica Hall, Taylor Sackett (Ethan), Dylan Sackett, Gavin Coughlin and Colin Coughlin; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Connor, Laila, Jonathon and Atticus. Barb is also survived by her brother Fr. Frank Buck of Lakeland, Fl. Barb's favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was a selfless woman that offered her time and effort before anyone even knew they needed help. Her legacy will live on as a result of the time she spent caring for others.  She had a wonderful relationship with each child/grandchild until the very end. Her family takes comfort in the many years and memories shared throughout her life. Barb remained connected to her Catholic faith through the years and was a member of St. Jude's, Elyria. All services will be private. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria.
