Barbara M. Boehler, (nee-Woodruff), 89, of Elyria passed away Tuesday November 5, 2013 at the Gaslite Villa in Canal Fulton following a brief illness. She was born January 19, 1924 in West Bloomfield Twp., MI. and was a Elyria resident for most of her life. Barbara was a member of the Washington Avenue Christian Church, a 1942 Elyria High School graduate and enjoyed golfing and playing bridge. Survivors include her daughters, Kerry Boehler of Barberton and Deanna Pohl of Minneapolis, MN., grandson, Scott and great-granddaughter, Allisyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Boehler, 1 sister and 1 brother. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 9 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Janet Long, Pastor of Washington Avenue Christian Church will Officiate. Burial will be private.
