Barbara Ann Barber (nee Friend), 82, of Fairlawn formerly of Elyria passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. She was born March 8 , 1936 in Toledo. Barbara was an awesome and beloved mother. She started the pre-school at Grace Lutheran Church in Elyria and was an avid trapshooter. Barbara enjoyed sewing , the Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland Indians, but most importantly she loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 60 years Jerry; daughters Jacqueline (Chris) Veach of Fairlawn, OH, Joanne (Mike) Treuel of Elyria, OH, Jennifer (Brian) Doucet of Akron, OH; sons James (Molly) of Cincinnati, Jeffrey Robert of Willoughby Hills, OH.; 11 grandchildren; twin sister Nancy (Bob) Gigax of Lebanon, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Edna Friend (nee Keier).
