Audrey J. Collins-Moran, (nee-Bailey), 85, of Elyria passed away Wednesday February 5, 2020 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born October 8, 1934 in Lackey, KY. And was a longtime Elyria resident. Audrey worked as a sales associate at the Macy's Department store in Elyria for many years, retiring in 2015. She was a member of the Oberlin V.F.W. Post 6273, the Elyria Eagles Aerie 431, the Elyria United Polish Club and the Wellington American Legion Post 8. Survivors include her husband of 5 years, George; daughters, Barbara (Ray) Slone, Karen (Randy) Meyers and Melita (Brian) Kieffer; sons, Danny Collins and Rick Collins; step-daughter, Tara (James) Sivec; step-sons, Tom (Denise) Moran and Tim (Michelle) Moran; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Bailey. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Collins, sister, Lorene Kilgore and brothers, Ed and Steve Bailey. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday February 11, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Additional visitation and services will be held at the Secor Funeral Home, Willard, OH. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, OH.
