Arlene A. Miller- Wacker, (nee-Laubenthal), 80, of Elyria passed away Tuesday March 14, 2017 at her home following a long illness. She was born November 27, 1936 in Avon and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Arlene worked as a Registered Nurse at EMH Regional Medical Center for 30 years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria. Survivors include her husband, Robert; daughters, "Marti" Miller and Tami (Bruce) Lamothe; sons, Mike Miller, Larry (AnnMarie) Miller, Scott Miller and Glenn (Jane) Miller; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Fr. Allan R. Laubenthal, Owen Laubenthal, Norman Laubenthal and John Laubenthal. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Miller in 1968, grandson, Sgt. Norman Lane Tollett in 2007 and her parents, Arnold and Irene Laubenthal. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 18, 2017 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Fr. Allan R. Laubenthal, Arlene's brother, will be the Celebrant. The family will receive guests immediately following Mass in the Parish Hall. Private burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Church or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105-1942.
