Our husband, father, and grandfather Archer A. Fuller, 85, of Lorain passed into the loving arms of his Father Wednesday February 4, 2026 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born September 24, 1940 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident.

Arch worked for over 35 years on the paint line at the Ridge Tool Company in Elyria, was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Church of the Open Door. Following retirement he did home repair work. He was a former member of the Elyria Jaycee’s and formerly active in politics. Some of his favorite pastimes were spending time with family, seeing his grandchildren, working alongside his wife doing just about anything, serving others wherever he saw an opportunity, and always sharing about his Lord and Savior.

Survivors include his wife Patricia (nee-Chapman); daughters, Andrea (Sosha) Hand, Rebecca (Miguel) Garcia and Tracy Willis; son, Stephen (Tammy) Fuller; granddaughters Chaya, Belicia, Dara, Elena, Alanis, Sadie, Ila, Martha, Sarah, and Emma, ; grandsons Micah, Isaac, and Benjamin ;1 great-grandchild Mateo; sister, Lillian Vandersommen; brother, Ernest (Loretta) Fuller; many nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly

He was preceded in death by sisters, Jenny Fuller and Helen Lance; and his parents Archer and Jenny Fuller.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 4:00 p.m until the time of service at 5:00 p.m.at Church of the Open Door 43275 Telegraph Rd Elyria, Ohio 44035. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Church of Open Door in memory of Archer Fuller. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria.
