Anthony Lee Guthman, 23, of Elyria, passed away in the early morning hours of October 16, 2025. He was born in Elyria on November 27, 2001 to parents, Clifford and Cheryl (nee: Gee). Anthony graduated from Midview High School Class of 2020 and later worked for Sandridge Crafted Foods as a trainer. He was a bright light who brought laughter, love, and joy to everyone who knew him. He had a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor—always the jokester, he could make anyone smile no matter the circumstance.

Anthony loved spending time with his family and friends, cherishing every moment together. He also enjoyed playing video games, where his playful spirit and competitive nature always shined through.He will be remembered for his kindness, his caring nature, and the way he made others feel valued and loved. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will never be forgotten. Survivors include his parents, sister, Taylor Guthman; maternal grandparents, Maynard (Linda) Emmerich; best friend, Spencer Fife; loving girlfriend, Callie Bradley; and devoted cat, Tiggy. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond (Helen) Guthman.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m.at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Burial will be private.
