Anne L. Stark (nee Tompkins), 85, of Elyria passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Fairview General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Elyria and was a lifelong resident. Anne loved spending time with her family, "sweetie pies", friends and ladies club. She enjoyed music, flowers, animals, chocolate and the color purple. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by many. Survivors include her daughter Michelle (Ern) Sherman of Roswell, GA.; sons Steven (Kitty) of Elyria, John (Cathryn) of Westerville; grandchildren Danielle (Alex) Bezila, Elizabeth Stark, Karalyn Stark (Nic Docs, fiancé),Jacqueline (Charles) Henley, Trey Sherman, Sarah Stark, Zachary Stark; great-grandchildren Leo and Raegan. She was preceded in death by her husband Jude Stark; parents Earl H. and Charlotte Tompkins (nee Zachman). Mass of Christian Burial 1 PM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Avenue Elyria, Ohio 44035. Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick pastor will be the Celebrant.
