Anne Mary Jankowski (nee: Kirsh) 97, of Elyria passed away Tuesday September 17, 2019 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born September 21, 1921 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident. Anne was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had worked at St. Jude School with the extended day care center. She loved cooking for family and friends, and was a member of Elyria Moose Lodge, V.F.W. Post# 1079 Auxiliary, and enjoyed doing crafts and playing cards. Anne is survived by a son; Timothy Jankowski (Robin) of Elyria, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward S., a son; Jerry, her parents; Stephen and Mary (nee: Lucas) Kirsh, two sisters; Margaret Takacs, Irma Hornyak, two brothers; Steve and Frank Kirsh. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Friday September 20, 2019 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM. Deacon Donald Jankowski will officiate.
