Anna Marie Slaga (nee: Shepherd) 83, of Elyria (formerly of Lorain) passed away Sunday July 29, 2012 at LifeCare of Elyria. She was born July 5, 1929 in Bridgeport, OH. Anna Marie was a member of St. Jude Church. She treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting. Survivors include four daughters; Marie A. Krebs (Oscar) of Elyria, Betty "Beth" Finnegan (The late Michael) of Elyria. Rose Mary Thompson (Phillip) of North Canton, Judy K. Neitzel (Neal) of Malvern, OH, two sons; John M. Slaga (Gloria) of Columbia Station, Robert J. Slaga (Linda) of Brunswick, additional survivors include eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two brothers; Charles W. Shepherd (Peggy) of Wheeling, WV, Robert E. Shepherd (MaryAnn) of Bridgeport, OH. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her husband of forty years; Stanley, her parents; Charles Ambrose and Marie Elizabeth (nee: Coyne) Shepherd.
