Anna Amelia Miller (nee Lauer), 100, of Elyria, passed away Saturday December 6, 2014 at Abbewood in Elyria following a brief illness. She was born July 16 , 1914 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. Anna was a graduate of Cole Township High School in Pennsylvania. Anna was an avid reader , die hard Indians Fan and she was a Volunteeer at Elyria Memorial Hospital for 41 years . Anna was also a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria. Survivors include her daughters Elizabeth Jane Miller, and Jana Mae (Steve) McCoy both of Elyria , son John Michael (Joyce) of Elyria , grandchildren Paula, Brian , Emily and Brad ,great-grandchildren Riley , Hayden and Danielle, daughter-in-law Vikki. She was preceded in death by her husband William L.B. , son William Preston , parents John and Annie (nee Weaver) , and many brothers and sisters. PRIVATE FAMILY VISITATION. NO SERVICES.
