Ann D. Ferritto, (nee-Frate), 89, of Grafton passed away Thursday February 9, 2023 at Brunswick Point Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was born October 19, 1933 in Cleveland and was lifelong Grafton resident. Ann worked as a teacher's aide at the former Belden School for 19 years and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Alter and Rosary Society of the Church. Survivors include her daughters, Antonette "Toni" Ferritto, Marie (Bill) Schultz, Susan Ferritto (John Szpak), and Patty Ferritto; sons, Anthony (Lana) Ferritto and Joseph (JoAnne) Ferritto; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Vincent Pietrocini. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Tony in 2018 and sisters, Julia Palmentera, Mary Ann DeFranco and Connie Pietrocini. The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the gathering area of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary of the church. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bella Care Hospice 5000 Rockside Rd. Suite 150 Independence, OH. 44131. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria.
