Angeline Frances Dubena (nee Labiszewski), 95, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 10, 1922 in Lorain, Ohio and resided in Elyria since 1954. While in Lorain she was a member of the Nativity B.V.M. Church. Angeline was a graduate of Lorain High School 1940 B. Angeline was a devoted wife and mother. She was employed as a bookkeeper for the Ideal Dairies, Inc. in Lorain and by the Cleveland Diocese food program at Elyria Catholic High School. Angeline was a member of the former Holy Cross Church, a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the United Polish Club Auxillary, the Polish National Alliance and the Union of Poles. Angeline loved to travel to Europe and the States with her husband John of 44 years who preceded her in death in 1998. Survivors include her daughters Sharon Anne of Elyria and Judith Renee of Columbus; sons Ronald John (Vicky) of Delaware, Ohio , and Kenneth Michael of LaGrange, grandchildren Danielle (Mike) Copley , Devin and Dylan all of Delaware, Ohio; great grandchildren Jessalyn and Cub; several granddogs and grandcats. She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Bertha Labiszewski (nee Sobocinski; sisters Marcella mattey , Frances Labiszewski, Josephine Majesky and Agnes Sadowski; brothers Louis Labiszewski and Stanley Labis and Frank Labis. Graveside services were held at Calvary Cemetery (Lorain). In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to Donor's Choice.
