Andrew T. "Andy" Ziegler, 57, of Elyria, was called home to our Lord on Friday, January 12, 2024 at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on December 29, 1966 in Seoul, South Korea to parents Reverend Robert and Esther (nee: Johnson) Ziegler. Andy worked for M & B Trucking for many years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and driving his semi throughout the country. Survivors include his wife, Katherine (nee: Scafe); daughters, Kassandra Scafe and Marissa Ziegler; sons, Andrew (Kimberly) and Gary; step-sons, Mason Runyon and James T. Hickman; sisters, Anne (Preston) Compton, Alison (Ron) Arends; grandchildren, Liliana, Ella, Payson, and James Jr.; nieces, Ericka and Elsa; nephew, Tyler. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Trent; and sister, Angela. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 noon on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria.
