Ameya S. Palekar 52, of Brunswick passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 31, 2015 at The Cleveland Clinic in Brunswick. He was born December 3, 1963 in Goa, India. Ameya worked as a Senior Manager for Deloitte Consulting. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Anu Palekar (nee: Vohra); a son, Aseem Palekar and a daughter, Samira Palekar, both at home; and a brother, Shekhar S. Palekar (Beena nee: Rao) of Purchase, NY. Ameya was preceded in death by his parents, Shrikant S. and Shanta (nee: Sawardekar) Palekar.
