Alyce M. Reisdorff, (nee: Barber) 86, of Eaton Township, passed away November 29, 2022 at home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the Western Reserve. She was born February 11, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska. Alyce treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from Western Enterprises after 20+ years as a machinist. Alyce enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, word-games, bingo, baking, and her cat, Jasper. Survivors include four daughters; Diane of Sheffield Lake, Vickie Cook (Dave) of Knoxville, TN., Cindy Vegh (John) of Amherst, and Kathy George (Ron) of Lakewood; two sons, Earl (Jane) of Okemos, MI., Robert (Lori) of Avon. Additional survivors include 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; a sister, Lola Nadine Covey and brother, David (Delores) Barber both of NE, and sister-in-law, Marge DeMont (Gerald) of NJ. Alyce was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Bim" and her parents, David and Ceytha Barber (nee: McBride) and brother Jim. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 4PM at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. where funeral services will be held 10AM Monday, December 5, 2022   at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Twp.
