Ally Hansine Andersen,93, gently passed into the arms of our Lord on Saturday,October 14, 2017, with her daughters at her side. Ally was born May 18, 1924 in Holstebro, Denmark and immigrated to America with her family in 1954. Ally enjoyed knitting and took pride in cooking and baking traditional Danish foods as a way of expressing her love. She enjoyed the time she spent outside mowing the lawn of her home well into her 80's. Ally was preceded in death by her dear husband of sixty-two years, Thorvald Andersen; her parents Peder and Anne Pedersen; and fifteen brothers and sisters. Ally is survived by her daughters, Anne (Larry) Crawford of Wellington and Ellen Andersen-Ross of Pickerington. Survivors also include grandchildren, Peder (Kelly) Andersen, Jillian (Ted) Walters, Brendan (Rachel) and Keegan (Lindsey) Ross. She was especially proud to be great grandmother to Millie, Andersen,and Marielle Ross; Oliver and Avery Walters; and Evelyn Andersen. She is also survived by dear friend and family member, Minna Mortensen. Special thanks to the staff at Keystone Pointe, Crossroads Hospice and the 5th floor staff of UHEMC for the gentle and compassionate care they provided.
