Allen J. Boros Sr., 88, of Grafton passed away Friday January 6, 2023 at his home following a brief illness. He was born October 10, 1934 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Al worked at the Ridge Tool Company in Elyria for over 30 years, retiring as an international technical director. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, served in the United States Army and enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughters, Patricia (Brad) Kushner and Julie (Dan) Haight; sons, Allen Boros Jr. (Peggy Theriot), Daniel (Debra) Boros, Richard Boros and Kelly Boros; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie (nee-Wykrent) in 2006 and daughter, Victoria Nelson in 1996. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday January 12, 2023 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). The Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Private burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
