Allan James Gerhart 79, of Elyria passed away Thursday February 14, 2019 at home following a long illness. He was born August 16, 1939 in North Ridgeville. Allan was the owner and operator of Pioneer Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. for forty seven years. He enjoyed having a beer with family and friends, watching movies and loved to work. Survivors include his wife of forty seven years; Dianne E. (nee: Gutowski), four daughters; Teri Conklin, Lisa Gerhart, Michelle Grimes, Kellie Plas, and fifteen grandchildren. Additional survivors include a sister; Else, a brother; Bill. Allan was preceded in death by a daughter; Christine Gerhart, his parents; Leo and Mary (nee: Smith) Gerhart, four sisters; Ethel, Lenore, Catherine, Mildred and a brother; Ted.
