Alexiyey "Alex" W. Herman, 26, of Wellington passed away Saturday October 19, 2013 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born February 7, 1987 in Cleveland and was a Wellington resident for most of his life. Alex worked as a installer for Northeast Ohio Deck and Fence Co. in Cleveland, attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Elyria and enjoyed playing golf and basketball. Survivors include his parents Phil and Jane Herman of Wellington; daughter, Adalyn Montgomery-Herman of Florence Twp.; son, Bobby David Herman of Lorain; sisters, Rhonda Norman of Elyria, Ginger Herman of Lorain, Kathy Rakovec of Wooster and Amanda Herman of Elyria; brothers, Ed Wise of New London, Jason Herman of Canton, Jerry Herman of Wellington and Ethan Herman of Wellington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Herman. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church 38550 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. The Rev. Darrell Myers, pastor, will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In liue of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to scholarship fund for his children in care of the church.
