Alexandra P. "Allie" Clifford, 16, of Elyria passed away Monday February 27, 2012 at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. She was born June 8, 1995 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Allie was a junior in the cosmetology program at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, worked at McDonald's on Lorain Rd. in North Ridgeville and enjoyed playing volleyball, skiing and music. She loved being an aunt to her nephews, Landen and Jayden Clifford and her favorite quote was " Life is to short to be anything but happy". Survivors include her mother, Angela Clifford (nee-Vasi) of Elyria; father, Rich Clifford of Olmsted Falls; sister, Nicollette Clifford of Lorain; brother, Michael Clifford of Elyria; paternal grandmother Susan (Marty) Costin, paternal grandfather, Richard (Laurel) Clifford; maternal grandfather, Angelo (Debbie) Vasi; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Catherine Vasi. The family will receive friends Friday 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
