Alexander Jose Rios left this earth and entered into eternal life surrounded by family on September 27, 2019. He was born in Elyria, Ohio on May 8, 1991 and was a 2009 graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Alex enjoyed sports and liked to play basketball, baseball and football. Despite being born a "Buckeye", he was a huge Michigan fan. In addition to sports, he liked to fish. But most of all, Alex loved his family. Whether he was at family gatherings or at the race track, he was never without a smile. Despite the hard life Alex was dealt, he fought for every battle he won. Those who truly loved and knew him will miss him for his sweet, kind and thoughtful personality. Alex taught us that none of us are perfect, no one has all the answers, but we all deserve to live our best life. He will be remembered for the places in our hearts he has touched. May peace be his, and may our God welcome him home. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the healthcare professionals at the Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital for their incredible care and support. They also appreciate the prayers, concern and support from his many friends and family who were there with him in the last days of his life. Alex leaves behind his parents Toni and Don Mould, Marvin and Lisa Rios; children Marcus Rios and Anthony Schaser; brothers Adam Rios (Hillary), Matthew Rios (Stephanie Ames), Jason Mould (Melissa); sisters Rachel Rios and Trista Andrews (Mark Overly); paternal grandmother Hilda (nee Leon) Rios. He was also loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Israel Rios and maternal grandparents Richard and Janet Peden. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 4- until time of service at 7 PM at Henry's Barn 46223 U.S. St. Rt. 20 Oberlin, Ohio. Donations can be made to LCADA (Lorain County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Lorain County dog pound , Friendship Animal Protective League, or Donor's Choice.
