Alex Pleska, 89, of Grafton passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1932 in Avella, PA. and was a Grafton resident for most of his life. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain as an assembler, retiring after 37 years. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed gardening, dining out and his grandpets. Survivors include his daughters, Sue Lorbach and Alexis (John) Sedivy; sons, Alan (Diane) Pleska and Glenn Pleska; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Dumont and Irene Oshanko; brothers, Pete and Charlie Pleska. He was preceded in death by his wife Johanna in 2014 and a sister, Mary. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
