Alejandro G. Santo Domingo 78, of Elyria surrounded by his loving family went home to the Lord on Friday December 15, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain following a brief illness. He was born December 18, 1938 in the Philippines. Alejandro was a member of St. Jude Church, and loved spending time with his family, fishing, playing cards and his Corvette. Survivors include his wife of sixty one years; Lourdesita (nee: Catalan), four daughters; Maria Lourdes Roman (Jerry) of Scottsdale, AZ., Maria Shirley Huge (Kenny) of Elyria, Maria Teresa Rick (Adam) of Elyria, Maria Elena Schroeder (Jimmy) of Sheffield Village. Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Rachel, BJ, Darren, Alexa, Nikolette, five great grandchildren; Vaughn, Brittaney, Tyler, Madison, Mikayla, two sisters; Elsa , Fe, seven brothers; Rene, Andy, Angel, Mario, Jamie, Jesse, Bernie. Alejandro was preceded in death by his parents; Bernabe and Elena Santo Domingo.
