Albert Andrew Janosik, 89, of Wellington passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Main Street Care Center in Avon following a lengthy illness. He was born January 28, 1928 in Lorain. Albert proudly served his Country in the Army with the 44th engineers. Albert worked in road construction and roofing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include his daughters Jacqueline (Glenn) Mertz of Elyria, Katherine Brock of Sommerset,KY.; sons Andrew (Ethel) of Elyria, Michael (Laura) of Vermilion, George of Birmingham,OH. ; 13 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Adam and Mary Janosik (nee Zuffa); brothers Joseph, Frank and Adam. Family will receive friends 11 AM until time of service at 12 Noon Tuesday , November 14, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church 9685 E. River Elyria, Ohio, Pastor Robert Weldon will officiate. Burial Brookdale Cemetery (Elyria), where full military honors will be provided by VFW post # 1079.
