Adam David Howser Sr. , 40, of Elyria passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his home after a hard fought battle with esophageal cancer. He was born July 8, 1980 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Adam worked for Duke Energy as a Solar Technician. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed Jr. racing with his son A.J. with a racing simulator which he built . All Cleveland sports, Ohio State Football. Adam was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church of Mooresville, N.C. Survivors include his sons Tyler and A.J. Jr. both of Elyria; mother and step father Cheryl and David Palmer; sister Jennifer (T.J.) Shouse of Elyria; niece Kaylee Shouse; nephew Alex Shouse; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father David; maternal grandparents Carl and Joanne Clapham; paternal grandparents David and Dorothy Howser.Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2020.(per cdc guidelines social distancing will be observed). MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
