Abagail L. "Abbie" Smitek, 20, of Elyria passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. She was born February 14, 2002 in Westlake, OH. Abbie played CYO volleyball at St. Jude, she was a girl scout, and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Abbie loved her job at Bath & Body Works. Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Smitek (nee Vasko); paternal grandmother, Mary Smitek; niece, Meilani Marie. She was preceded in death by her, father Robert; sister, Kaycee; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Catherine Vasko; paternal grandfather, Edward. Family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Vincent DePaul Church 41295 N. Ridge Rd. Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Fr.
