Aaron M. Klimek, 48, of Elyria passed away Tuesday August 31, 2021 at the Abbewood in Elyria following a long illness. He was born February 18, 1973 in Gowanda, NY., and has made Elyria his home for the past 15 years. Aaron was employed by the United States Department of the Navy in Cleveland as the Director of Accounting for the past 15 years. He served in the United States Army and was a 1991 graduate of Gowanda High School and earned his Masters of M.B.A. from U.N.C.W..Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Rhonda (nee-Arnold); daughter, Emily Klimek; mother and step-father, Bonnie and Robert Gabel and sister, Katie Banks. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Klimek. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday September 10, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where the V.F.W.
