Obituary for Thomas J. Sullivan Sr.

Thomas J. Sullivan Sr., 83, of Elyria passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a lengthy illness. He was born August 27, 1936 in Cleveland. Thomas was a carpenter working for Yost Construction. He was a member of Elyria Moose Lodge and Elyria VFW post # 1079. Thomas was a good hearted soul, loved by everyone who knew him, he was a hard working man doing yardwork, fixing and building things. Survivors include his wife Nancy (nee Morrison); daughters Debra Summerfield, Stephanie (Jason) McClean, Leslie ( Raphael) Urteaga; son Thomas Jr. (Darla); grandchildren Liam McClean, Vincent and Jacob Urteaga, Brandi Walls, Nikki Summerfield; great grandchildren Shianne, Savannah, Blake, Cody, Kohle; great-great grandchild Arianna. He was preceded in death by his daughter Diane Jo Sullivan; parents Joseph and Thelma Sullivan (nee Beans). Family will receive friends 12 Noon until time of Celebration of Life at 1 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
