Obituary for Terry R. Vanderbosch

Terry R. Vanderbosch, 71, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at his residence Thursday, July 25, 2019. He was born March 5, 1948 in Garrett, IN. Terry enjoyed biking, collecting records (45’s), video poker, all Cleveland sports teams, avid reader of newspapers and books and especially spending time with family. Terry was a retired case manager for the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction in Grafton, OH. Survivors include his wife Judy (nee Taulbee); daughter Kathy Armstrong of Elyria; son Mike (Samantha) Vanderbosch of Avon Lake; grandchildren Alexis, Mehgan, Sadie, Ian; sister Lori (Bayani) Delos Reys; brothers Philip “Pud” (Lola), Dave (Tonya); best friend Mark Dybiec. He was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Katherine Vanderbosch (nee Miller); brother Timothy. Family will receive friends 4PM until time of service at 7PM Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Burial Private. In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to the Lorain County Metro parks or the Elyria Public Library.
