Obituary for Sheryl Anne Kluding

Sheryl A. Kluding, (nee-Eisenhauer), 75, of Elyria passed away on Sunday April 18, 2021 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake from complications of the COVID 19 virus. She was born October 16, 1945 in Gainesville, Ga. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Sheryl worked for Hill’s Department Store for 15 years, retiring in 1998 as an audit clerk. She served as a past president of the East Carlisle PTA and also a past president of the Midview PTA Council and formerly belonged to the Wednesday Women’s Bowling League. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Robert) Snider; son, Alexander Kluding; grandchildren, John and Crystal Snider and Jennifer and Ariel Kluding; brother, Terry Eisenhauer. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael in 2019. The family will receive friends on Friday May 14, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Facial coverings and social distancing are required. Services will be private. Private burial will be at La Porte Cemetery, Carlisle Township.
