Obituary for RoseAnn M. Cavaceci

RoseAnn M. Cavaceci 70, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at UH Elyria Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1947 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident. RoseAnn was a 1965 Elyria Catholic High School graduate, and had attended Lorain County Community College. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in Elyria. RoseAnn had retired from Bendix; previously she had worked for The Elyria Telephone Company and Elyria Foundry. RoseAnn was a member of the Elyria United Polish Club, and had bowled on the ladies bowling team. She enjoyed watching Cleveland sports, baking, reading, crossword puzzles, was fascinated with lighthouses, and loved her dog. Survivors include her brother; Tony J. Cavaceci (Susan) of Elyria, four nephews; Gene, Tony, David, Joseph, and her dearest friend; Marcia Pichola of Elyria. RoseAnn was preceded in death by her parents; Eugene Sr. and Natalie (nee: Niegowski) Cavaceci, a brother; Eugene Jr. Family will receive friends from 1-4 PM Sunday January 21, 2018 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where closing prayers will be at 9:30 AM Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday January 22, 2018 at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave. Elyria. Reverend Father Angelo Zonta will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain. Memorial contributions in RoseAnn's memory can be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
