Obituary for Rhonda L. Kaleel

Rhonda L. Kaleel, (nee-Stanford), 57, of Vermilion passed away Saturday June 27, 2015 at U.H. of Cleveland following a long illness. She was born June 25, 1958 in North Lawrence, OH. And was a 1976 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Rhonda held various jobs in the area before moving to Clearwater FL., Where she worked in the Insurance field and met her husband to be in 1990. They returned to Ohio and settled in Vermilion, marrying in 1995. Rhonda was employed at Centurytel in Lorain for 15 years, and then was employed with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services until her retirement in 2014. She was a avid reader and loved spending time at home taking care of her home and dogs, first it was Bubba & Grady then upon their deaths, she adopted her new boy, Achilles from the county shelter. She treated those dogs as her children and nothing was to good for them. Rhonda loved sweets and coffee and also taking trips to various casinos around the country. In 2010 her health issues arose and continued unfortunately until her final demise. She fought her battle with dignity and humility and never complained once about how bad she was feeling. She was the kindest person you could ever meet and would do anything for anyone no matter how she was feeling inside. The world lost a wonderful person, but her pain and suffering are finally over and Heaven has gained another Angel. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Marc A.; father, George Stanford; brother, Duane Stanford; aunt and uncle, Wilma and Marvin Harogrove; special cousin, Debbie Stanford; father-in-law, Joseph M. Kaleel Sr., and so many friends from Centurytel and ODJFS to list without omitting someone. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona, grandparents, George and Wilda Stanford and Harry and Thelma Snyder. We would like to thank everyone for all of the prayers and support and a special thank-you to the staff at Hematology Oncology Center of Elyria, especially Jay Sidloski, D.O. and the centers manager, Lisa Ingersoll-Dumski, we would not have made it this far without you!
