Obituary for Ralph W. Brady

Ralph W. Brady, 90, of Sheffield Lake passed away Wednesday February 5, 2020 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born December 24, 1929 in Toledo and was a Sheffield Lake resident for most of his life. Ralph worked for Bettcher Manufacturing in Cleveland for 33 years, retiring as treasurer in 1991. He served in the United States Army, was a graduate of The Ohio State University and enjoyed sailing and playing tennis. Survivors include his daughters, Aimee (Guy) Rodgers, Angie (Max) Jalowiec and Regina (David) Jones; sons, Pat (Jude) Brady and Tom (Heather) Brady; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosemary Brady. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday February 11, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care 9775 Rockside Rd. Suite 270 Valley View, OH. 44125 or to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
