Obituary for Michael Justin Zatezalo

Michael Justin Zatezalo 71, of Valley City passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday April 19, 2020 following a long illness. He was born August 17, 1948 in Cleveland. Mike served his country in the United States Air Force as a Master Crew Chief on B-52 Bombers. Followingthat he worked and retired from LTV Steel. He cherished spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting. Survivors include his loving wife of forty years; Donna L. (nee: Michalske) two daughters; Renee L. Zatezalo of Valley City, Nicole F. Brumbaugh (Nick) of Broadview Heights, a son; Nathan N. Zatezalo of Valley City, additional survivors include a sister; Brenda Church (Charles) of LaGrange, two brothers Greg and Jeffrey Zatezalo both of Elyria. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; Nick and Loretta (nee: Genks) Zatezalo. Committal services with full military honors will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. (TIME AND DATE OF SERVICES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE) Mike’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Newton family for all their love and care.
