Obituary for Mary L. Fortune

Mary L. Fortune (nee Wolf) 81 of Grafton passed away Wednesday February 11, 2015 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. She was born June 28, 1933 in Penfield, and was a 1951 graduate of Penfield High School. Mary was a 4H advisor , PTA President , Treasurer of Penfield Alumni for 17 years , and a wonderful seamstress. Survivors include daughter Melinda (Dennis) Anderson of Rhode Island, sons Bruce (Julie) of LaGrange , Brian (Barbara) of Grafton , 5 grandchildren , 2 great-grandchildren , sisters Ruth Miller of Grafton , Katie Seabold , Irene McMullen , and Judy Klingshirn all of LaGrange , brothers Donald and Jacob Lee both of Colorado , Richard of Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband Sheldon in 2003 , parents Frederick and Mary (nee Chapman), brother Frederick , grandsons Cy and Bo Pinter. Family will receive friends 2-4PM Sunday February 15 , 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria 440-322-4626, where services will be held at 4PM. Rev. Fr. John Seabold pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church Grafton will officiate. Burial will be private.
