Obituary for Lee K. Pfeiffer

Lee K. Pfeiffer, 71, of Huron, S.D. passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at University Hospital Main Campus in Cleveland following a brief illness. He was born April 28, 1949 in Duluth, MN. Lee worked as a forecaster for the National Weather Service. He proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force. Lee enjoyed fishing, music, pheasant hunting and was a great man of faith. Survivors include his daughters Rhonda (John) Luptak of Olmsted Twp., Barbara (David) Gooch of Elyria; grandchildren Anna, Philip, Samantha, Brianna, Andrew, Jocelyn and Mitchell; sister Jill (John) Hershman of Huron, S.D. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and MayFern Pfeiffer (nee Sheeks) ; step-mother Betty Pfeiffer (nee Anderson); brother Larry Pfeiffer. Family will receive friends 2PM until time of Celebration of Life at 3PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. (per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed). MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Burial Private.
