Obituary for Lee J. Szczepanski

Lee J. Szczepanski, 68, of Litchfield passed away Friday September 1, 2017 at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland following a brief illness. He was born December 12, 1948 in Grafton and was a lifelong Grafton area resident. Lee was the owner of Spanky’s Siding and Construction Company in Litchfield, a 1967 Midview High School graduate and an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Laura (nee-Huber) and sisters, Beverly, Cheryl, Lynell and Lynette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Spanski and a brother, Joe. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Saturday September 9, 2017 at North Eaton Christian Church (Disciples) 35895 Royalton Rd. (State Rt. 82) Grafton. Mr. Larry Ross will Officiate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 North Murray Ridge Rd. Elyria, OH. 44035. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Lorain County Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
