With a 2 year degree she taught in Kanawha Co. WV. in a one room school, and lived with one of her parents in a home that only had a big space heater to warm the whole house. She taught a second year in Ivydale, Clay Co. She then returned to Glenville to finish College and was graduated in 1951 with a BS degree in Education. In 2000 she met and married Martin Krupar from Avon, OH. and in 2001 they bought a winter home in Florida which was sold in 2015. She continued to work until 2004 but resigned when Lehman Johnson was sold to Howard Hanna.
